We are sorry to inform you, that sadly our Centre will be closing its doors as of August 2024. It has given us great pleasure to serve families and their children of our community. We wish success to all of you and future families who find quality childcare in the area. Ms Sarah & Mr Ash

Our Philosophy

Here at Teddy Bear Picnic Learning Centre we aim to create a safe and loving environment where each child’s talents and abilities are encouraged, expanded, and explored. We understand and acknowledge the importance of BC’s Early Learning Framework, which helps us to create our activities and programming for children at our centre. We believe in the philosophy that play encompasses creative, self-help, social, physical, cognitive, perceptual, emotional, and speech and language skills. We know the importance of working with parents as partners in their child’s growth and development. We value what we do, as it is who we are. We understand the significance of why we do it and who we do it for.

Sarah and Ash treated my boy as their own, and showed him paitence and happiness. The kindness they showed was amazing❤️ would highly recommend!!!😁

  • Ms Sarah and Mr Ash and the true definition of sunshine! They both are incredibly caring and treat our daughter as their own. We had recently moved to the island and looking for a center for our 3 year old. When we enrolled her in TBP not only did we find a daycare but we found a new family! The space itself is one of the cleanest and most organized daycares I have ever seen! We recently participated in the holiday party and the amount of care and effort Sarah and Ash to make it special for not just the kids but the parents too was just so lovely. You won’t regret sending your child(ren) here; we sure don’t!
